Mixing and kneading high-viscosity systems
High-viscosity adhesives and comparable formulations place specific demands on the mixing and kneading process. We have a range of equipment available for processing these products, covering different formulations and batch sizes.
Dispersing and mixing coatings, waxes and compounds
Coatings, waxes and complex compounds require controlled incorporation and distribution of their components. For these production tasks, we use different dissolver systems.
Manufacturing dispersions and emulsions
Where components need to be intensively distributed or dispersed, specialised high-shear processes are used.
Reactive manufacturing processes
For certain products, manufacturing involves more than mixing alone. Where controlled reactions form part of the production process, suitable reactors are available.

Formulation and development
Production is based on customer-owned formulations. Our in-house laboratory and development team support projects in which formulations need to be adapted, prepared for industrial manufacturing or adjusted to changing requirements.
We also have experience in evaluating and selecting alternative raw materials – for example, when existing raw materials need to be replaced due to regulatory requirements or when more sustainable alternatives are required.
Raw material sourcing
The raw materials required for production can be sourced by Diffutherm and made available for the respective order. This allows raw material procurement and production planning to be coordinated within a single manufacturing process.
Toll manufacturing
Our broad range of machinery covers different viscosities, product types and process requirements. Depending on the project, mixing, kneading, dispersing or reaction processes can be used.
Packaging
On request, Diffutherm can also handle the packaging of the manufactured product. This allows our scope of service to extend beyond production itself through to the finished product.
